Methods of patternmaking
Tøyenparken 2021
Sculpture in charred wood, 320x320x200 cm
The sculpture visualizes the excavation work of archaeologists when they are searching for traces of the first people who came to the geographical area that is now called Norway 12 500 years ago. The sculpture is an interpretation of a scientific framework, a mechanism for our way of looking at the world, but also a method for giving a story a platform, a stage.
